This looks more like some sort of hammer called Frostcry.
Sorry doesnt look like Hammer of the Naaru to me.

first it was purple, but Fw updated it I think

give it a blue or purplish glow on the gem part with a billboarded plane, and i'm pretty sure you can make the gem purple with geoset anims with a reddish or purple colour, though i don't know how it will turn out as colour anims don't usually work as well as a texture.

what you can do is to apply another texture into the crystal material, but you gotta find the purple teamcolor texture as separate..

or you can recolor the crystal in geoset animations.

Make more real with the crystal. Try using Power Generator that crystal textures on it.
