I doubt it's coming, but if it is then it's a BAAAD IDEA! Halo 3 already had a pretty clear ending. If they DO insist on making more games on the universe, they should atleast make it a completely new spin-off series with a new name.

It's been confirmed that Bungie is working on a new project, soon to be revealed at a "dedicated event". It's also been confirmed that it's set in the Halo setting.

Whether it's Halo 4 or not, we don't know, but it's Halo all right.

its for xbox, dunno if itll come out for pc tho.

Ok guys, open up your eyes and look CAREFULLY. For there are many hidden messages in here, some of which I have found

Following observation:

-At the top left corner of the screen. It says "City of New Mombasa". Huh? New mombasa died?

Yes It did. That blue explosion in the beginning? If you look carefully thats a Covenant ship activating a warp drive. Where do we remember this?

Metropolis level of Halo 2.

- The drop pods, those are the ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Troops). Yes, the marines in black helmets.



My hypothesis: Its a Halo 3 expansion campaign. Possibly from the view point of a Marine. Taking place directly after the Metropolis level of Halo 2.

"Prepare to drop" really leads me to believe you will be playing as an ODST.

Thoughts?

Maybe we'll actually get to fight in that "Believe" trailer that never happened in Halo 3

I'm surprised nobody has pointed out that last we saw, the arbiter was heading back to his home planet. (But worded in such a way that it is assumed that is a long way away). My guess is that if there is another FPS set in the halo universe, it'll be about the arbiter returning to his home planet only to realize that the shit's hit the fan! (Yea... poetry major... I know!).

That's just my guess though.

You play as a marine, it is inspired by films shot by a South American (or African) director.

You take cover like in Gears of War, and it is said to be a strong 'M' title (meaning massive amounts of gore and guts).

It will also feature a realistic injury system, and medics will most likely be included.

umm yah, bungie released a mythic pack for campaign, which adds 6 more missions. they also like reset all the rankings and shit, and added all these achievements too. like u reach the 7th rank on the 7th day of the 7th month.

my friend says its cause they cant for some reason make halo 4, so their just adding crap onto halo 3.

if we were to play as odst's... u realize how hard the gameplay would be? since masterchief is a super-super human, and ODSTs are regular humans... ugh... we'd like die unless we were always in groups.

@Brad: i said that the next halo game would be set before halo 1. and i figured all of u guys wouldve figured out the ending either through youtube or by beating it.
