Chapter 1

The barrens of Kalimdor...

Was once the land of the Ramazors, who ruled the land challenging all who oppose them.

Then came the centaurs, Pushed out of the forests of Ashenvale by the Sentinels who overpowered them with the superior archery of the Night Elfs.

And finally the Humans, A random group of bandits who fled the laws of Lorderon, in search of riches and a new beginning.

War broke out...

The centaurs taking up the age old challenge laid down by the first Ramazor Chieftain. Battles raged, with both sides equally matched. The hide of the Ramazors was almost impervious to the weak wooden arrows of the Centaurs but the centaurs soon developed hand to hand weapons and were no longer as vulnerable in close combat.

Under the stress of constant war the Centaurs were forced to retreat from the battle field in search of a safe home in which to fortify its self. For on the open plains they stood know chance against the Ramazors who had lived there for hundreds of years.

Meanwhile the bandits hid from sight. Searching for something of great value and usefulness... They found it in the very earth below their feet.

After a hasty retreat the centaurs took up residence in a large valley that they named, "Kilthas". Here they regrouped and waited for the imminent arrival of the Ramazor army, which would reach them in several days.

The High Chief of the Ramazors prepared his army, an army the like of which had never been seen before in the Barrens, a thousand strong of fit, young but experienced Ramazors armed with an array of maces and clubs. Then they marched, a thousand footsteps as one! The perfect war cry that instilled fear in the hearts of the Centaurs who were still a good day’s march away.

A verdict was reached! The centaurs could not possibly stand against the force of the imposing Ramazor army; the order was issued to move out at the break of the next dawn...

Chapter 2

The Ramazor chieftain stood alone his jagged wooden club at his side, a valley of centaurs below his very feet, but the valley was not as quite as it should have been just before sunrise. The centaurs were breaking camp! Hastily the Chieftain gave the order to attack and kill at all costs.

As the first line of Ramazors came over the edge of the valley the centaurs panicked! They ran for the opposite side of the valley where one of the two exits was found, the only obstacle in there way was a steep incline.

As the first Ramazor reached the bottom of the valley he stopped... Something just wasn't right; he could feel it in the air. Unfortunately his thoughtfulness was to be his undoing as his fellow Ramazors trampled him in their rush to reach the Centaurs, the slowest of which was half way up the hill out of the Valley.

As the very last Ramazor reached the bottom of the Valley, a horn echoed through the Valley. The Centaurs turned as one, bows drawn, as 300 arrows descended on the unsuspecting Ramazors.

To the left and right the bodies of the fel beasts littered the ground, their hides useless from the angle of attack. The Centaurs charged! Bellowing war cries the melee Centaurs rushed head on into the Ramazor front lines, which crippled and broke.

The battle raged, the strategic positioning of the Centaur army allowing them to match the superior numbers of the Ramazors. There was no end to the battle in sight until a second horn echoed its tune. The Iron Nation had arrived.

Ranks of men appeared at along the edges of the valley, their faces hidden from sight by newly forged amour, gleaming in the dying light of a scarlet sunset. Cruel Steel at their sides ready to be drawn, the steel points of 100 arrows waiting to tear the flesh of the animals below.
