I don't know if I've ver told you people, but I like D'n'D. ONe of my favorite critters from the Monster Manual is the Grick. A snake with tentacles and a beak. Every DM I've ever had I've convinced to let me have a grick as an animal companion when I play a Ranger or Druid, mostly through my knowledge of biology.

I've always wanted on in warcraft, so the otehr night I sat down and made one. Based it off of the Naga Siren model. Modified some of the animations.

Anyone have any suggestions on how it could be improved?

Very cool, but his tendrils and head blend together too much, so it's a bit difficult to distinguish.

Good news first, I like D&D. Bad news, I hate gricks.

That said I still think your grick looks good. The proportions are well balanced (a grick look), and if you have a screenie of it expending all 4 tentacles it would give a better view of the model.

The only grouse I have is the pale green colour of its upper body. Perhaps it looks good on a w3 model, but if you wanted a more appropriate representation of its camouflage skin the colour should match its surroundings. (eg: dark coloured if it lived in dungeons/underground or tan/grey if it lived amongst rocks) If someone asked me I'd say this grick lives in a zen garden.

Overall, good model (even if its a grick)

There actually is a way to do that, but would require some seriouse mpq editing, or mapping onto ingame cliff skins. I could make another model that dose the later.
