Well, yeah. Since most of the mesh is just solid black it reduced the time that would've been used for UVing the body. I might re-uv the body to a better texture and just darken it with modulate filter.
very nice design, though i guess something inside the staff-skeleton's ribs would make it look more......special.
I'd put something like the frostwyrm's "heart" or the cube-thingie of the nerubian/spirit tower inside the ribs. IMO it should have this extra feat since apparently it is a hero
But that's just my oppinion.
Btw, I rly love the green eyes of the skull! They give it this extra-hero-uniqueness!
