Great equipment-system ideas needed !!!

Hey people , I am developing a unique Hero Arena style map , desciption of which can be found here : https://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/f256/champions-island-hero-arena-94535/ . But the only thing that's stopping me is an equipment system , I can't come up with any good/unique ideas ? Can you help ^^ Major credit will be given

What exactly, in your view, are you looking for. What type of equipment system do you want?

What I am trying to make for an equipment system is
No Hero Abilities are passive or aura

THe Items are Passive/Bonus/Auras
And Spellsheild/Reincarnation would of course be in the mix
THis would kind of disallow any potions and anks would have cooldown instead of, but the idea was that players should be able to kill one another with just their abilities and attacks instead of having passive abilities.

From there, you can make the system have stackable items
-But this would make you need to make 3x the items and 3x the abilities.

but yeah...
Thats my thoughts on an equipment system

I got nothing in terms of Equipment systems
I guess, 1 weapon, 1 armor, 4 blessings/auras

Equipment system ideas? Use just this. Its normal and simple. :/

Slots.
1. Head
2. Armor
3. Weapon 1
4. Weapon 2
5. Hands/Foot
6. Misc

For what?
1. Head slot is for helmets and so on.
2. Armor slot is for a basic armor. Usually a Chest or Legs.
3. Weapon 1 slot is for weapons. If a Two-handed weapon is equipped, it also fills Weapon 2 slot.
4. Weapon 2 slot is for second weapon, if your hero has an ability to Dual Wield. Or shields.
5. Hands slot is for gloves and everything that is put into a hand and Foot slot - you know.
6. Misc slot is for Pendants, Talismans, Trinkents, Rings and Runes. Almost everything that doesn't belong to the 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 slot.
