Dont worry Ghost i agree they are a bit small lol. the goblins in WoW only come up to about the humans waist or knees even. I think that is more what we are shooting for but then again critters are HUGE. And i just remembered, the critters are huge and deformed because of the gnomes inventions, right? So then goblins arent to much shorter than humans. They are like the WoW goblins, short but not TINY.

6 proffessions might be enough for now. I think we should do these 6 hero designs and draw a layout of the map. I would like to keep the layout of the drawing that Goblin drew. Ill try and draw a similar layout.
 
i suggest.. we make 1 model for goblin MALE and 1 model for the female goblin... ( i can make the texture...) and each model should have all the spell animation.. (1 spell animation for each proffesion (maybe) and like 2 attack animation for each proffesion also.. so

Stand 1
Stand 2
Attack 1 (alchemist, cook, Engeneer, entertainer)
Attack 2 (alchemist, cook, Engeneer, entertainer)
Attack 3 (fisherman)
Attack 4 (fisherman)
Attack 5 (Hunter)
Attack 6 (Hunter)
Spell animation 1 = (the goblins knees down and pour the potion contain on the ground) Alchemist
Spell animation 2 = (The goblin knees down and take the fireworks on his backpack and fire them than he hide his face with his hand) Entertainer
Spell animation 3 = (The goblin knees down and play with his hand [hes building something]) Engeneer
Stand Vitory 1 = The goblins dance!! hehehe.. jumps around and make some crazy move... like the troll in wow.. and the tauren.. kind of..
Dead animation = He walks and walk backword an fall on the ground.. and than lay his hand and die.. (like a fake dieing actor)

if i forgot something .. tell it!

You seem to be thinking the fisher goblin will use the fishing pole like a whip almost. I imagine more so he just hits them with the fishing pole like a sword. And for his Catch an Release spell, he would possibly grab the fishing pole with 2 hand and throw it over his back and then fling it forward casting the line, and then wait a second or 2, and then fling the fishing pole back over his shoulder and then hit the target.

Back. I'd say make a swamp AND a valley. The frogs are going to be important. Say, to the left of the small village thing is a valley, across that is a goblin Fort built into a gold mine, and to the right is a swamp, where low level enemies are. Also where Frogs are.

Hmm. I don't like your Hunter hat idea. I think it should be like a yak-hide hat thing. Robin Hood hats are for rangers. Hunters are by far NOT rangers.

Yes I know, what I mean by it is, I found a nice model, want me to ask permission to take and mod it's armor/weapons to work with our goblins?
 
Ok now... heres a few ideas i had while i was working...

1# Instead of learning abilitys, we will have to buy them.. like in wow...
2# each dongons they will be a set for each classes that will drop... (it will improve the goblin attachment point)
3# We could buy pets.. like rabits and stuff (goblin related of course) that will folow us everywhere...
4# It will be possible to enter into some houses...
5# Sometimes a rare boss will spwan in some ''X'' place.. like every 30 minutes.. or someting like that..
6# The player could brought a tent that they could install everywhere they want.. 1 tent per player at the time... and each tent will desapere after 5 minutes
7# We could make some crazy trinket that can create some special thing.. like create robots.. etc...
8# We can make that each time a player enters into a marchent we hear the marchent says like = Hello there?! (with imported musique or sounds)

and thats all.. btw the concept of the terrain is made .. just need to upload it!

3) Yeah. The Hunter can tame them, and tamed ones are better.

ok i would say... lets.... make 4 dongeons...

first one = lvl 10 to 15

second one = 35 to 40

third one 55 to 60

fourth one 55 to 60 (again so the high level player dont get bored)

also.. like in wow.. if your a lvl 2 and your killing a creep lvl 2.. its easy.. if you kill 2 lvl 2 = your ok.. but you need to recover... and 3 lvl 2 = you die without potion...etc...etc..

so even if your lvl 60 you dont kick everybodys ass easily..

Yeah. That way you don't. PLUS. The boss's levels will keep going higher. Past level 60. So you still have a challenge.

Okay about you two agreeing on the tend idea to setup anywhere, whats the point of doing so, neither of you said.

And for boss fights, id like to see puzzles during the boss fight to follow, patterns more so. Something more than just HIT HIT HIT HIT HIT HIT HIT HIT HIT HIT HIT. You get the pointi hope heh

I know exactly what you mean. Like, the boss is weak. Theres a badass servant you have to kill and then the boss you have to kill. While fighting, lots of small weak dudes spawn and attack. You can only attack the boss if none of the small dudes are alive. All buffs are weakened while fighting the boss. Etc. I get your point. A cool triggered boss fight. :D

exactly dude. and maybe even someone has to stand on a rune somewhere that does something for the boss fight. Just special little things you have to do for a boss fight or optional little things that make the fight a bit easier and other stuff like you said, basically WoW boss fights. Stuff like that.

Yeah like while everyone distracts theboss a guy has to run around and place explosives that are the only thing the boss can be finished off by
Just like only Dark Templar can kill a Cerebrate.
 
guys... like i told you i can't do terrain for now.... cause i just remove a big virus from my computer.. and i lost my DirectX connection (dont know why) so i cant play on warcraft3 or use the model editor...

i'm really sorry... but will try to fix that problem as soon as possible.. >< really.. sorry ... cause for shure the first day i will had show you some terrain.. so right now.. Lets just talk about the concept and everything..

Sorry again ..sucks to be in my possition.. (i cant even open warcraft3viewer!)

Edit: btw i'm off for the week-end will be back monday.. and i will try to ask my friend to come home to fix this MAJOR problem >< hope he will solved it..
 
okey i'm back! let me talk about the concept of the map... for the 1# dongeon in the swamp place.. i imagined that the player will fight big frogs.. aligators.. and stuff... (lizard place)

the 2 dongeon.. in the dark woods.. first will be a fearie corrupted place.. so... lots of vines... like in duskwood in WoW.. the second one for higher levels will be MUCH more creepyer... with smog effects and stuff.. and much more bigger...

the dongeon in the Fearie forest... will be a magical place.. like Ashenvale but much more fearie tales kind... than it is.. so wisp flying over the heads.. and stuff.. with crystal lights and stuff...

The Dongeons on the island will be a Sunken Ruins temple.. so FULL of murloc.. and nagas.. or maybe an other race.. will see... finaly..

the Dongeon in the mountain... will be a Gnome base.. with lots of robots.. and stuff... with electrick lines and stuff... (Gnomerigan in wow) i tought..

Hated = lllllll Friendly = llllll

I'm not sure I want to know what the "party" is, the way you say it. Anyways.
I know what the final, best weapon should be called.
 
New CREEPS IDEAS!!

1# Leprechum = in some ramdom place in the fearie woods.. and the prairis.. there will be a pot of gold (item) if you take that pot of gold.. a Leprechum will comes out of NOWHERE and attack you.. (this could be for a quest = Bring 4 Leprechum lucky charm)

2# Garden Dwarf = a model mayde with the Tuskarr body reskinned by me and with a Cone red helmet.. this creature will be found in the prairis .. in front of the house.... when you get to close to them.. they come to live and start to hit you..

and.. thats much about it... for the creeps..

now heres an idea about the goblin village..

instead of behing in a swamp.. they will be in an underground place..

how to get there? by a secret underground passage in a tree..!! OF COURSE!!

Yay, terrain, but... BOOOOO, NO UNDERGROUND HOUSES D:
Them being in a swamp makes this original. Keep it. But, have their houses the huge trees in the swamp. That'd be cool.
 
Nice avatar btw... I imagined a village made in circle with a bun fire in the middle.. not much house.. like less than 20.. but in witch you can enter in them..

also.. heres an other idea.. we could add special events in the village.. like after 1 hour of playing .. a Rock star groups of goblin sings ''TNT'' of ACDC .. XD or a carnaval.. or like during christmass time.. we add a secreat cheat.. that start an event.. (the santa claus goes to the village) hes a speacial marchant.. and he gives like snow balls and stuff.. just for fun..

:grin: This is funny to read, and have you guys even started it? 2 people to do the terrain and one guy to do the triggers? Sounds like one heck of a rpg...

Uhm. Two to do terrain, one to do triggers, and one of the terraining guys does concept artwork, GUI, skins, sites, and music... So bleh. But we still need a modeller/animator.

1# -The Monsters concept we will have to fight during the game..

1# -Find the attachment for each proffesions..
2# -Give ideas for the Spells for each proffesions..
3# -Ideas about the Classes or the proffesions.. do we keep my ideas?

The World
1# -The terrain concept.. (do you want to change something on the concept?)
2# -Find the name for the dongeons, the places... etc..

Game Play
1# -Give Quest concept or ideas...

I have a base model that we can add attachments onto, and I can get some attachments that work with it.
I'll do da quests!
Nah I think the terrain concept is pretty good.
 
k heres a concept of a boss.. that i created..

for the Kobolts Mine .. the final boss..

Kobotls Engeneer---------------------------

You enter in a room.. where theres the boss.. and with lots of barrels.. and some robot barrels (model that i make easily with Auras attachment ^^ its pretty funny :p)

Than.. each 25% of his life.. he stunts everyone and start a robot...
Each 10 seconds he launch a bomb that does ''x'' damage around it..
Than when hes 2% of his life.. he stunts everyone and runs into the wood.. behind him.. than.. we get into a robot.. that have 2x his attack and 2x his life..
