I have no use for msn =p
I have AIM, YIM, and xFire.

Yes, well we're going to use some Wow models. I'll send them to you.

However, I won't upload them here because this site prohibits the discussion of them.

So this is all I can say:
We will use wow models for:
Male goblin base
Female goblin base
Final gnome boss
Gnome mechanic boss
Mechanic boss's robot spawns
 
k.. its alright.. its just we will have to take good units model.. or texture.. if we want something that have the same kind of graphics than the one in wow.. so will import a lot of model in that case..

and we have to find a way to comunicate instead of this thread.. cause i just had a Warning from Ru.. so..

Edit: ARRRHhhhhggg ... i reinstall my Warcraft 3 but.. i lost the cd key for the RoC.. so i used a hacking system so i could have one.. to still be able to use World Editor... but now i can't download the Patch.. so no Thinker model.. and other stuffs..

nah i guest will just find my Cd Key back and just reinstall the hole thing again.. it takes only 30 minutes to reinstall everything ..btw..

for the Female and Goblin model.. take a goblin with nothing on him.. execpt poor colths.. like pants.. and thats all.. and bracers..
 
K guys .. i started the terrain .. but before adding all the doodads and stuff.. for the swamp.. but! i need to know witch kind of creature.. we are going to fight.. and what your expecting for the swamp.. like your idea of how it will looks like ^^

oh and... WHERE ARE YOU SERV?!

Dunno where serv is.

Alright. I'm thinking for the swamp of a boggy area with willow trees and the like, hanging branches, moss everywhere, algae-infested water. Perhaps some pipes with green liquid oozing out of them. The enemies, giant frogs, simply. Not like the mounts though, much more angry-looking. Definitly look like they can pose a threat.

Oh definitly more than frogs =p Like some darkshore threshers or something, etc.

Never played D or D2. And don't play to play D3.

wow , i saw the name of this map and it rly catch me... well , i read the other post , but , what monster ideas are you asking for ? (i mean , for which place , Faerie (or whatever) forest , Swamp , etc?). mmhh... i can help with ideas... just if you allow me...

In the field we'll be fighting the bunnies, bigassthings, maybe sheep. In the swamp, perhaps like living goo or small swamp creatures.
 
i want it to be more .. creepy.. however.. but can't :'( oh.. and we need a bubble doodad.. Like the big one that explode in wow..

well , i have some funny ideas , but for the RAIDS or Instance or Quest or however you want to call it (if it will be some).

then , for the swamp , i agree putting slimes , they fit very well in the swamp... anyways , i was thinking in like Elite things , maybe a crocodile or something like it...
 
ah well now we have

Terrainer = Mostly me .. but with some Servily helps..
Trigger and model = Hero_lief (but dont model alot)
Object editor = me ... i guest...

so we mitgh sill need your help... so :D if the others said its ok.. your welcome..

Im sure we could use someone more advanced with the GUI or Jass than me =P

Bleh i haven't helped with anything yet. I may make a model or two, but bleh, im still a noobs, though i did take a nice year long class of Gmax. Terrain i could help but you seem to know what you want to do it yourself. And triggering i know my way around decently but we do need someone more advanced.

I'm not really looking, for a long, long term project, but I can do things that you're having troubles on. My JASS is basic at best, by I would like to think I'm very good at GUI.

I can make (well implement) a projectile and knockback system (MUI, leakless).

Well for the beginning of the map, just an idea off the top of my head, a hero selection system using dialog boxes. But we aren't totally at the point of making triggers yet, thats kinda the last part you do after terraining, and creating characters. Which we haven't gotten to yet. So long term this is becoming =P

Not a problem. Dialogs are easy. I'll make a better one. (Like Dusk's in AotZ?)

I don't really have a problem with it being long term.

I am imagining the dialogs, of course, And colored font for each class as well as the name, duh. pretty simple, i could do it, after a brief tutorial ^.^ But yeah easy. The boss fights will be more exciting for you to make, we plan to have good elaborate boss fights, not just the Tank and Spank.

The hero selection in AotZ (you really should play it, the best AOS map out there) there are a collection of neutral heroes, that you have shared control over along with the rest of your team.

They are at mex level, and you can see all of there skills. They can't cast any of their abilites. There is a button, labeled "Pick Hero". When you click this the hero is removed, and a new one created at whatever you want the start location to be.

This lets players read the skills, and find out the stats before doing anything.

The boss fights will be more exciting for you to make, we plan to have good elaborate boss fights, not just the Tank and

And i guess id just make a line of heroes so that you can see them all and select one and pick it. But to try help prevent the players that know where the hero is they want so they can click it right away, make it so no one can select a hero until after a time limit. And im a fan of only letting one type of hero on a map. See what others say. I find the dialog boxes with colory text sounds cooler lol. Always nice to have a visual of your hero and to read their abilities.

Trust me this method is better for players.

But to try help prevent the players that know where the hero is they want so they can click it right away,

Randomizing heroes locations is possible, if necessary.
 
oker... i'm glad we have someone else in the team... now what we can .. and what he SHOULD do..

is give all the creatures concept that we will be fighting... for each place.. cause than i can make the terrain that goes with it...

thanks for your incoming idea...

now to help you out... heres the area we will be going true during the game,,

--> Swamp = well its a swamp...
--> Dark forest = its a forest were we found mutated things.. and other corrupted things...
--> Fearie forest = they live happy ever after... (is our main idea)
--> the Fields = well its a field where we will be fighting ..rabits... dog... prairis dogs.. etc... etc... (but its not a big part of the map so)
--> The montains = Cold and icy .. where we fight the gnomes.. and other kind of Fury animal...
--> The beach = we will fight some fish and some other water animal.....
--> and for all the dongeons.. we will talk about it later...

Oh and for the dongeons.. i image like 3 boss for each? like 1 Big boss and 2 middle.. boss..
