GIF Problems

I have been trying to get my avatar on the site to be alpha'd, my alpha'd version works on every other site, but this one.

I've tried indexing the layers using GIF format, I tried alpha with PNG, I tried using templates, no matter what I do, my alpha channel still comes out white. Why?

I didn't know if this should have been put in off-topic or not, but it is basically an texturing problem, (less an art problem).

Avatars need to be 100x100 or smaller to have transparency.
