Ghillie Suits?

I wonder why nobody even bothered making a ghillie suit model file in Warcraft despite of the popularity of the Call of Duty Modern Warfare game. The Ghillie suit will surely help all the modern warfare/WWII map makers all over the world. I wish you can make one.

Wouldnt it be really high poly? And also you can just make a shrub as an attatchment, which looks surprisingly good.

well... Yes... it does looks good... however... having a real ghillie suit model file which really "blends in" with the environment helps. For example, maybe they can use the texture from the leaves floor of Ashenvale as the base skin for majority of the parts... then a few roots or shrub pieces sticking out of places to break the "outline" of the unit.

Um... is this message a kind of double post? I don't know if it is... Please warn me if it is because I do this quite often sometimes. Thanks by the ways for spending some time on my request.

Attach Shrub model to every attachment point. Then use triggers to detect the current terrain and tint the unit. If the in-game shrubs doesn't suit you, find another small shrub-like models and attach it.

Creating a ghillie suit in a game like this for camouflage purposes wouldn't really fool a gamer's eye.

Yeah, the player can just 'alt' to find out where a guy was.
