Geoset Merging Without Changing Bones

Is it possible using either Magos', Oinkerwinkle's tools, or Notepad to combine two geosets without changing what bones they are assigned to?

Example: A model has 6 geosets. I want geoset 5 and 2 to merge without losing their bone references.

Uh er yeah, just copy the bones for each of the geosets in notepad, combine them in VM, open back up in notepad and paste the bone reference in the new geoset. It should work, but I am not sure that it will. :\

I'm finding this a little hard to follow. What am I copy and pasting? Can you explain what you mean by 'bone reference'? I'm not sure what part of a geoset references bones.

Could you go into a little more detail please?
