Description:
  • Generic unit models for the Human factions.

    Unit Name
    Description
    Peasant

    Basic Worker unit.
    Ranger

    Ranged unit can be upgraded to Rifleman or Armored Archer.
    Rifleman

    Ranged unit with increased damage but slightly shorter range.
Notes:
  • These are supposed to be experimental models to learn how to animate models and to learn more about the process of making custom geosets.
  • Animations of these models will be subject for improvement in future updates.
  • If you can and if you have time it will be really good to have a custom pack of icons for these models.
  • Notify me for any issues in each models.
  • Please give proper credits when using any models from this pack.
  • Do not ask for the other models in the image some of them are in my laptop and I might not be able to recover them. I'll just remake them once the repairs are done.
  • Do not upload any part of this pack to other sites
    (seriously why are you uploading models from hive creators to other websites you are not even asking permission and not giving proper credits???)
  • Do not edit without permission

IMO, the Ranger and Riflemen are too easily confused on the battlefield due to them practically looking alike even if they have different animations.
these models are designed for my melee maps.

so the general idea is to have the Ranger serve as the basic ranged unit for the human faction then have it upgraded into a Rifleman with an additional damage but slightly slower attack rate and slightly shorter range or into an armored archer with the same range and attack rate but with bonus armor. this explains why they share the same base model.

*idea inspired by the headhunter upgrade of Orcs

That's great. However, more differentiation would do wonders to the visual and unit recognizability. For instance, the Berserker can easily be identified in a pack of Head Hunters and the other way around.
