Neat char
What happened to him - Maybe he got a mission from the god of light, maybe to find and neutralize a great weapon, the Talisman of Darkness. During the Easter Games he realized that the talisman is indeed pocessed by a Furate captain, Dai' Quong. He is now travelling from port to port, from village to village to track the Furate's movement. However, he lost track after the fisher villages of Loch Kael, so he went to Luthien (is it?) to get a ship to Mordan, as the Furates must have gone there.
-Just an idea
Oooouuuh, that's an awzum idea indeed, but Bofill's still the one to make the final choice. Anyway, let me explain what we're actually dealing with here.
Hundreds, maybe thousands years ago, a mysterious Panda somehow created a lot of talismans. Each talisman represented a God - so that means there is a talisman of Light that is connected to the God of Light (Chen has that one), and a talisman of Darkness that is connected to the God of Darkness (Dai Quong has that one). There is also a talisman of Fire (Dai Quong has this one too), which means there must be a God of Fire, but nobody knows about this deity in the story so far. And there must obviously also be talismans of Love and one of Insanity hidden somewhere on the Panda's continent known as Mordan, because there are Gods of Love and Insanity too. Anyways, whoever is in possession of a talisman will grant lots of powers related to the represented God or Goddess, and is also able to turn into a dragon of the talisman's element.
Dai Quong is the leader of the panda pirate organization known as the Furates, and bought the Talisman of Darkness from a harbor merchant who didn't know what powers it held. However, a few months ago, Dai Quong met Antonio, a wizard servant of the Goddess of Insanity, Mania. Antonio successfully turned Dai Quong into a maniac, so he too started to serve Mania.
His first action of servitude to the Goddess of Insanity, was to enter the Easter Games competition on her team. However, the popular Easter Games is filmed and shown on television globally, so your character might have seen Dai Quong on television and learned that he is the one who carries the Talisman of Darkness.
Or you might have seen that Chen carries the Talisman of Light, and might want to seek him out instead. No matter what you do Bofill, Kari's idea is actually a great plot to use when introducing your character to the story, but it's all up to you :b

Well Am we need a map of Elvenland(Or what you call it).
I know it might be confusing at this point, but I really don't wanna publish the map before Clurey is done drawing it. Besides, a lot might happen in the meantime and I might have to add new things to it ^^
But until then, look at
the Easterland-map. The beach right outside of the Easter Games Arena is Ryan's beach. It is where all the Mother Shrooms are located and Ryan's villa is located kinda in the center of the beach. A little north-east of Ryan's house is located the Brightwing Hill, with the Brightwing Tower on its top.
The Elven cities are the most difficult to explain, without the map, but maybe you can figure it out by looking at the old Easterland map, while you are reading this. Imagine if you go to the northernmost point of Ryan's beach, you will notice that it suddenly ends and a tall straight cliff rises out of nowhere. Yup, instead of the mountain on top of that cliff, there is an elven city - and that is where you are, Chen.
The interesting part, however, is that from this mountain city there is a wall, that leads directly east, across the ocean, to the continent of Mordan. Don't ask me how the elves built this wall, but they did - and it separates the water coming from the north completely from the waters in the south. Anyways, on the middle of this broad wall, lies the Port city of Luithen. The water from the north reaches all the way to the wall's top, and therefore the city is used as a port, but only to the northern side, as the waters are very low and shallow on the southern side of the wall.
I hope that helped a bit :b
