Gate open close

I believe you have the wrong animation names. You can use a tool like Retera's Model Studio to open up the model and view its animation names and indices (or you can also view the names in the world editor side bar):

In your case, you can use "Death Open" (to open the gate) or "Death Close" (to close the gate). If you don't want the animation of the doors swinging, then you can use "Opened" (for the opened version) or "Stand 1" (for the closed version).

If those names still aren't recognized, you can try using the animation indices listed in parentheses next to the animation name, e.g.

call SetUnitAnimationByIndex(gate, 5) // this will play the animation: (5) Death Close
