Vampire Lady's taunt timings changed in 1.1m (3)?

Actually timing on Lady was changed in 1.1m due to a spell haste bug. Since 1.1m(3) fixes the spell haste bug her timers reverted back to what they were originally prior to 1.1m. So yes they were changed, but they were changed back to what they should have been.

hey zwi why you dont change the atribute of hammer of wielding from agility to int??
so it will be more like a paladin hammer and more usefull for crusaders so 4 int in the place of 3 agi and maybe more 2 damage to the hammer and more 500 gold cost... (cause no one buy that hammer and have no reason to buy it...)
and what about my idea of change a little cold death and mercenary sword?
so what you think?

Please add a mark system? Will make group mobs a lot easier too attack? like a cross/circle/square/moon any shape really, helps setting up attacks e.g trap moon, everyone aim cross etc..

EDIT: On an unrelated note the Monks ability Bond and Mind is kind of hard to tell when it Procs. I know that there is an animation for it but you can not always see it. Is there anyway it could have a sound trigger or something when it procs because as of now you basically just have to stare at the heroes buffs at the bottom until you see it pop up.

Why does human and inscried skulls give much more spellpower than The Blazing Heart or The Commandments?

Reduce the the thief class change level guards' level, I cannot complete the level due to them having dog noses.

that castbar looks awesome wont need that much space either i guess.
Yeah I tested it and it looks good. Too bad I had to make some adjustments to the model to make it fit the purpose (creator forgot to flag in unfogged and remove the depth information, which is important for interface stuff).

I think it might be a bit to big, but then again I keep all my UI:s at minimal size. Would be cool if you can choose the size of it for individual players while in game. Like:
-castbar off
-castbar 1 (Minimal)
-castbar 2
-castbar 3 (Default size)

Some items are fine, some are a mess, some areas are lacking. You can't say 'All' Zwieb. Theres a significant amount of balancing to be done to the early game progression to d3, items are just one of the lacking areas.

I mean nearly every enemy comes down to auto attacking and the occasional 'bash' skill.

Not everything needs to be as complex as your bosses but something better than more armor and damage per level would be interesting. A poison passive for spiders, a charge skill for boars. Hell I don't know, something that could make encounters a bit more exciting than a reused played skill now and then. Crows apparently leave gaping wounds, hell, give them some evasion they're birds idfk.

I love gaias, you know I do but there are areas that may need improvements. I'd really appreciate that when I do bring some ideas forward they aren't just met with a flat out no. Regardless, they're probably not worth considering until after 1.2. The current progression may be repetitive but it's what we know and love.

All items in the game are balanced around the required user level.
Yeah, because hunters are not supposed to be good dps so i give tanks a sword with +18 dmg while rangers can't have a bow with more than 10 before d3, yeah lets give every good items to squires and forsake hunters, i hate them anyways.

Lets not get sarcastic. Lets all just give the man room to breathe and present things in a more efficient manner than I WANT DIS IN GAME. Bring some solid approaches, like what that Tempolord gentlemen did with those world bosses he wanted. Zwieb crushed his spirit but still, he put the effort in and thats what counts.
 
Look, I'm not 'crushing anyones spirit' here, I'm just tired of people demanding and complaining 24/7.
I got a job, I got a girlfriend, I got hobbies aside from making Gaias. I'm making this stuff for you guys for free, I don't even take donations (you can donate to Shapy, though, to keep the bot running), because I feel accepting donations for something that I consider as a hobby would be hypocritical.

Mapmaking is not something you can and will do just 5 minutes a day. Everything needs to be thoroughly thought over. If I add something unbalanced or bugged, boom, everyone abuses it and the game is swarmed with hacked chars and people start complaining, demanding a code wipe. Then those people who didn't want a code wipe start to complain. It's an endless cycle of trolling and complaining.
I get like 10 private messages every day and usually I don't even read them, because its always the same three messages:
"When does 1.2 come out?"
"Can you please add xy?"
"Will you make a codewipe??"

Really, I'm tired of this. If you have valuable suggestions, feel free to post them in the forums, like the miniboss threat - but if you do, then please also accept criticism by me or the community.
If you want to know when or wether something happens... *cough* please at least take the time to read the last 10 forum posts! I'm not a waiter or service! I'm not making this map for *your* personal entertainment! I'm making this map because its FUN.

And part of the fun is that I can design the game the way I want.
I think a lot of people have forgotten about that. Most of the suggestions don't even come with the layout of suggestions anymore. It's just demanding, almost like I would owe them something.
"Please change this!", "This one sucks!", "I want this in the game". ... most of the time there isn't even a "please" in the demand. -_-'

I'm a human, mate, do you even understand how hard it is to create a shitload of items every time a new boss or piece of content is released? Do you even understand how challenging it can be to create items that are balanced, equal in power and yet don't look like the other items?
Sure I could give every weapon the same AP, but that would be lame, wouldn't it?

Really people, I'd love to make the start more interesting, I really do, but there's more important stuff on the schedule right now. You guys all want 1.1n and 1.2 to be released as soon as possible. The early game 'works'. It might not be perfect at any point, but it's fun and it does what it should do pretty well.
I added mercenaries just to make the game more fun for single or two player games, they also add a lot of value to the early game play. This was a feature I didn't want to implement at first, because I always felt that Gaias was meant as a team game for 4 to 5 players. Still I followed the idea and implemented it at some point just because I felt the criticism on single player experience had a valid point. There will be improvements to the early game at some point, but I can just do one thing at a time.

Bosses will have a 30% bigger castbar, just because bosses are usually also bigger in size.


I also took the time to add a channeling mode to the progress bar model which reverses the bar direction (the creator forgot about that for some reason).

If the ogre boss drop a druid bow, you could at least make the mytargas blacksmith sell Sharpshooter for 2k+. He sells the Blacksmith Revenge wich is a same tier item, so I would see no problem in that.
 
Blacksmiths Revenge is a purchasable item because I felt that tanks needed something in return for being beaten all the time and being not as much fun to play as damagedealers.
If I add Sharpshooter as a purchasable item, I'd have to add thief weapons, staves, etc. aswell.

Bow of equality is actually a good name.
Then let's also add a 'Quiver of Whining' to the mix, because there's very few quivers in the game aswell.

This is actually possible by using floating texts, but it will never look consistent for all people, as the localized versions of the game use different fonts, font sizes and even the resolution of the screen changes the size and position of the texts in an unpredictable way, so I'd rather not do it.

You should add all that crap zwieb. Mytargas has sooooo much unused space, a few more merchants would do it good. And some pretty material merchants. and quests. and bosses. and xp. and less waves. and and and and and and

please.

Man, I was so up on those spell names. Oh well, the bars look pretty enough.

'Quiver of something other than ap and mp' is also a nice name.

Seriously, though, many people including myself would appreciate a new quiver and a new bow for the hunters. The bow doesn't even have to necessarily be a shop item; it could be some sort of recipe or boss drop. Just, something so that a hunter can actually help in a d3 group before it has d3 items. Because the only way to get d3 items is to do d3, and if an archer can't get a good bow until d3, it can't do d3, and then it can't get that bow without being carried by other classes, and not being able to help your team isn't so fun.

I understand you don't have to do anything, but it's something that really ought to be done.

Why is everyone complaining about a quiver? There are 2 pre-d3 quivers, 2 pre-d3 books and 2 pre-d3 gems... only thief and squire got 3 or more unqiue items (shield/offhand). So why are you complaining? One more quiver would be nice, but then, 1 more book/gem would be needed too.

About the bow: The best pre-d3 bow is Piercing Longbow from ogres(AP:9 ArP:12). There should be added a bit better pre-d3 bow or the Piercing Longbow should get improved, since every class got a better pre-d3 weapon than rangers.

btw, most of us here are playing gaias for years now, and why is everyone complaining about the starting area NOW, "short" before 1.2? The community never complained that much about the starting area before as far as i know. Zwiebel got enough work to do for 1.1n and 1.2, so stop complaining about things that are making minimal problems, better focus on the bigger things now. [Just my opinion]

You can rest in combat when using one of the restealth talents or the Into the Shades skill (dunno if it is accessable already).

nothing of those exist now. but i see you have future ideas. good.
generally recuding a little bit her skills mana costs is not a bad idea since she is not even a mage class.

Maybe Sharpshooter, White Sceptor, Fury should be buyable in mytargas for like 6k and 1 mc, so you still ahve to d3 for them, but not necessarily get as a drop idk, just a suggestion
