I awaited this Comment. Alright i move it to Substandard. And yes i too use these types of models as an easy Base for more complicated models.

I don't really know what the use of this is? Don't we just have this model in the game?

Same as Ujimasa's optimized models (although he always adds derivatives), for easier model editing.

Derivatives is basically a total new model/skin. But logically, importing a base game model in a map? No sense. We're not running 286s anymore, come on.

Yeah obviously that's not the point :p it's so it's easier to make edits based on the optimized model (don't have to make a separate portrait, no edits to the duplicate geoset in this case, ...). That's why ujimasa includes the optimized base models in his bundles.

Generally, portrait models are much higher quality than the actual model's bust and head.
Did you fuse the portrait model with the whole model?

You guys are acting like you've never heard of an Optimized model before. This isn't exactly new territory.

It may be "sUbStAnDaRd" but whatever.

Well I was just answering questions :p but yeah this is for substandard.
If I make small edits of this model I will add them here. I'm planning to make a more extensive edit which wouldn't fit here so I uploaded it separately.

It's probably a big secret how he combines portraits and models.

There is no secret. 90% of the time they're the same base. There's less models that have a completely different head than there are that use the same base model for the unit and the portrait.
