Full Conversion Stuff

I have planned on making a small, full conversion edit to wc3, which would support a variety of maps made in WE... So I would be editing MPQs, image splats on the main screen, buttons, etc.

Who else has done this, and where might I start this off?

I'm sure someone has written a detailed tutorial on changing these types of things entirely...

Btw I had no idea where to put this, move it if you like.

Oh hai.

Not many have made true 'mods' such as this. Well I guess you'll need knowledge of how to import and export files into an MPQ.

I have no experience in the field so all I can say is you need to know how to edit MPQs, and possibly library and .exe files.

Eh, yeah WC3 is dying anyway, I've just decided to make a set of altered melee maps with the same constant gameplay standards and different terrain.
