Frost's Eve is an Open Roleplaying Game (ORPG), featuring slots for up to 8 players to play at once.
This makes it a great choice for playing with your friends, however it also features a single player option, in which Saving/Loading is disabled.
The game is designed for 2-8 people to play. I do this not to discourage single-player play, but to ensure no cheats are allowed.

The gameplay is somewhat similar to other ORPGs in that you have a questline, except you can choose not to complete it,
however, one of the main differences being, completing the questline in Frost's Eve unlocks access to new areas.
These areas are unlocked at key checkpoints throughout the game, and are saved to the Save/Load code you're given.
This means that you WILL NOT have to complete the main questline over and over again to unlock these new areas, simply once per hero.

Aside from the main questline, Frost's Eve features many other, rarely seen elements that make it a good choice for you gamers.
If you ever play other ORPGs, you may notice that some interfaces are kind of half-assed. They may be incomplete or parts of them are simply wrong.
I can personally assure you that everything here is complete and specially designed with you in mind. I've spared nothing when it comes to aesthetics.

There are a total of twelve playable heroes to choose from, each sporting three 100% custom, and unique abilities, and one ultimate ability.
Rather than using traditional stat points to level up your abilities, you purchase books of training from a special merchant.
You can also down-grade abilities if the mana cost is too high, or if you simply want a challenge. This allows for a very versatile skill setup.
Note that there ARE still level requirements for leveling up your abilities, as well as stat requirements for some of the later levels.
It's best that you keep this in mind when planning trips to dungeons with a party, as you may want to redesign your skill tree depending on the event.

Yet another work of art, the Dungeon & Loot system. To ensure fairness and satisfaction for ALL members of a party, each player is rewarded with an item.
It doesn't matter whether you get the last hit, or whether you're off protecting the others from the creatures assisting in defending a boss's treasure.

This way, everyone can go back to town happy knowing that they didn't completely waste their time. Even if your loot isn't usable by your class,
your Backpack contains an additional six inventory slots, is always with your hero, and is able to pick up any item to sell or store in your stash.

The loot from these dungeons are unique items, sometimes class-specific, meaning that only a certain hero type will be able to use them.
Because of this, it would be best to learn which dungeons boast what treasures, and go after one with several items specific to your hero class.

You may also stumble across ingredients, or profession items. Frost's Eve also features four individual professions for you to master.
With the ability to choose from Blacksmithing, Jewelcrafting, Alchemy, or Enchanting, the number of potentially epic combinations are exponential.
You cannot have more than one profession per hero however, and your proficiency in your select profession is also saved to your hero code for later.

With so many features readily available, there's really few limits as to what you can do in the game. Your life, your story, is yours, and yours alone.

Although, when I put in the screenshots and features, it didn't work.

If you'd like to see a demo, I can either send you the map in a private message; or I could host it on WC3 for a few people. Whatever you'd like.

Yeah I've added one new spell for the Warp Knight, and removed the old one, so I guess I just replaced it..

And I added an ability called Phase Transition for the demon knight which turns him into a demonic beast.
It's like a 15-second long, awesome looking metamorphosis.

As for quests, unfortunately no!
Those haven't really been the priority of late.

Indeed, there was.
Although complications with the editor have ended up with project being redone.

This means rebalancing, a whole new system, and the map is simply better planned.
The team and I are working hard to get it back to where we were, plan on news updates fairly soon.

All the heroes are being redone, some are being removed, names are being changed, abilities are being altered.
At this moment, the Mystic has been removed, and in his place is the Elementalist, Liara.

ELEMENTALIST
Liara's spells are of course centered around the elements.
She is a knowledge (intelligence) based hero, with low hitpoints, but high pools of mana increasing exponentially with higher levels.

Her first spell, Infernal Storm, calls down meteors from the sky to damage enemies which are then caught on fire, taking damage over time.

Next on the list is Earthshard Which highly resembles the Blizzard spell Hurl Boulder, with a little extra flare.

Her final spell is called Tempest.
Once casted, a storm appears over Liara, and passively strikes nearby enemies in a set AoE with lightning.
The bolts appear every 0.5 seconds and strike targets in a strictly random fashion, meaning they WILL NOT favor bosses.

Now, Liara's ultimate is a true masterpiece. The spell was created by 'G00dG4m3', with the help of JetFangInferno's FrostBlast.mdx

Basically, Liara strikes a single target with an icy blast, dealing a set amount of initial damage.
Orbs rotating around the original blast area are then created and begin to expand and contract.
Once the orbs contract back to the original blast point, they explode in a frigid armageddon.
The blast shatters the bones of those affected, and freezes them in a solid block of ice for a set duration.

I had a few screenshots but the map was restarted due to a fatal error.

Currently there isn't much detail put into things, and thus isn't worth taking a screenshot of.
Most of the work currently is towards the heroes and abilities.

Haha well if people want to see the progress for themselves I can send the map in a PM.
I just finished up the hero selection system. I remade it to be more efficient.
Lowered the max level to 120 from 150.

You now get your ultimate at level 80, and can level it up every 10 levels.
All other abilities are leveled up every 15 levels,
making the max ability levels 5 for ultimates and 8 for others.

Remaking it has been a lot of work, but the comments I've received so far are driving me on. :) thank you!

ABILITY #1
Luna launches her glaive with such force that it's able to travel up to a distance of 3000,
and will hit a target stunning it and dealing immense damage.

ABILITY #2
Hardened from her years of battle experience,
Luna is able to strike multiple foes with a single attack,
increasing her effectiveness in a fight.

ABILITY #3
Being aligned with the Goddess of the Moon,
Luna is able to call upon her blessing to aid her,
and any nearby allies during battle by increasing their attack damage.

ULTIMATE
The Moon favors Luna this night.
Calling upon it's power, Luna is able to strike nearby foes with energy periodically,
dealing immense amounts of damage if used correctly.

Well the map had a lot of content before, then we ran into a big problem and scrapped it.
We restarted, making it bigger and better.
Everything is smoother and more efficient.

If you saw the thread before, I had screenshots and whatnot, but I redid the thread to suit the new map.
That's why you don't see much.

After the abilities for the heroes are completed, I will be posting descriptions of each as well.

INTRODUCING THE BRAND NEW HERO.. Spirit Avatar.
He's a Melee Tank that's capable of dishing out damage as well. He can be used for one or the other, or in some cases both.

Zeul smashes the ground and sends out a massive shockwave of spiritual energy gathered,
to crush his enemies dealing damage in a line.

Ability #2 - Chargebolt
With his unmatched power, Zuel is able to gather up his strength and focus it into a single bolt of energy,
that will strike a single target with immense force stunning it for a lengthy duration.

Ability #3 - Greater Cleave
Swinging his great axe with spirit-guided energy,
Zuel is able to strike multiple foes near the target with each attack,
dealing a percent of his damage to those hit.
