I was curious as to what you guys thought of me making some heros who fly and maybe some who hover (btw, hovering is just an art, like the standard sorceress, it does not mean extra mobility).
It depends upon the type of balancing you are talking about. Do you mean limit their mobility? Lower stats? Weaker attacks? Weaker armour? Worse abilities? Lower speed? Slower attacks? What is your definition of balancing here?
that thing of the art of flying looks good maybe you can do something like windwalk then ( cant attack during flying and extra dmg when ending)
and your really hard to discuss with :d (but im k with that)
i mean real flyers movement, but to have weaker attacks and mabey slower attacks but as fast if not faster, the idea is that because of it being in the air its attack are as good/accurate but that you can move fast and anywhere
I think I will just make it an art thing, far easier that way and a lot less hassle. It makes it so I need not worry about new targeting systems or flying over landscapes.
the thing about air heros and inbalance is the fact that the hero can come out first. I think night elf could be the only race that could handle an air hero. I think its a good idea if the hero can only be a tier 3 hero without having to make the hero dramatically weaker to balance it out.
