First skinning attempt [Acolyte's model]

I honestly need your thoughts over this!!
I am currently working on the face. I tried alpha skinning that piece of fabric before his mouth, but I can't get it working, any ideas?

I like what you did to his face. As for the cuff (or whatever it's called), it cannot be removed using alpha, because the model defines it as a team coloured Geoset. When you alpha, the team colour will just show up more solidly, if you remove the alpha completely, you can skin it normally, but you can not remove it altogether without editing the model itself.
 
That's getting better mate, keep it up!
 
It looks good. You could edit the model later on if you decide you REALLY want to get rid of the mask. Its not a very difficult change.
