[Import] find all uses of icon in map

hey there,

one of the icons I imported into my map has become corrupted, so I want to re-import it and replace in all places. the problem is that it's one I used in a bunch of places (a blank black square to hide dummy abilities) and I don't remember where. since my map is pretty big I would rather not have to skim through hundreds of items in the object editor. is there a way to locate all uses of a specific imported icon?

You can convert the map to lni format with this tool: W3x2Lni v2.7.2
Then you can look in the text files and search for particular icon paths.

But if you just reimport the icon under the same name, it should work too.

Also, you can hide an ability icon by setting it's Art - Button x/y to 0,-11 in the Object Editor.

I don't think there's a case where you would need to use a blank black square.

pretty sure that bugged out for me somehow and that's why I went with this solution. don't remember details...
