To hell with that, let's just do a metal project.

K, heres my idea:
See the Bard in the model section? Alright, imagine a more hardcore lookin' version, all painted up and spiked, swinging his guitar around.

Now imagine he uses a Metamorphasis-style spell, and instead of transforming into anything, a huge portion of the ground rockets out from under him, and he's ontop of this pillar of stone, rocking out, giving speed and damage buffs to all his allies as they run past.

Nothing says ownage like going to war with your anthem being belted out by a badass metal musician.

Metal Militia indeed.

lol. Trey would be a quake character running around with a guitar because he loves quake. If you have the Love of Lava cd, that gives you enough sound clippings to use when he does his attacks.

I love the first albums of Slipknot O.o
Does that make me a kid... Somehow..?

Damn... I hate all this "If you listen to that you are gay/kid and you don't know what real music is!"...

I too, enjoy music made by people who know what they are doing, but that doesn't give me the right to judge people as retards just becouse they don't understand what "real" music is (most people don't care for the matter either)...

This.

Slipknot is very noisy but they make decent music. It's stupid to say "you suck because you listen to x". I can just as well say "you suck because you DON'T listen to x." Grow up kids. Besides, Nu-Metal isn't THAT bad. Korn plays nu metal and they're really good.

Call me a kid and what-so-ever, but for me, disturbed is great. Great lyrics, most of them are based on real fucking events that happened to the lead singer. He saw his girlfriend killing/hanging herself (suicide), his child dying on the birth, and much more. That's why I picked these 2 songs... Some people couldn't handle such a burden...

I also Like Disturbed, I really don't know those Internet-outside word calling of kid's music or what you call it, slipknot and disturbed is my childhood's best rock band (it doesn't mean I'm a kid) but how come some people hate it? why won't they just appreciate it like a normal band instead of name calling its fans? no matter the topic, I like Slipknot and Disturbed

Disturbed is great, but frankly, Asylum is disappointing. They brought nothing new with it, it's very redundant.

You all took my words out of context. haha

I've been hated on by Nu Metal Trendcore kids so I think I have a right in what I say.

And that quote above is exactly why I don't listen to that much nu metal

honestly the only bands I listen to that are nu metal are early disturbed, soad, and early Korn before everyone became radio friendly.

I think I'm going to change my mind.
My favorite band of all time must be Mörk Gryning (Swedish for Dark Dawn).
Why? The first album is absolutly the most creative and ambitious album I've ever heard
and the music is, yeah, it's epic beyond words... Dagon, Journy and
Armageddon has come to pass... Unleash the Beast, those tracks are among the best things I've ever heard...

I suck at expressing feelings for music... But if you got nothing better to do,
take your time and read some about Mörk Gryning. In my opinion it's one of
the most underrated bands of all time (together with Savatage) and if there
was a book of heavy metal, they should be one of the first bands to appear
in it after Bathory, but that's just my opinion.
