Faceless King

This is not a modification of the previous uploaded FacelessKing. I restarted from the bottom.
Like you all advised me before:
- He has chest and back armor.
- The helmet perfectly fits with no tubes or dark parts.
- The new creepy face made him look different than the other Faceless ones.
- His weapon is Unique from the others.
- He has a belly eye.
I hope this made him special enough. I hope this model gets approved now.

Create a unique and sinister head, and try some other weapon than a club.. he's supposed to be royal, right? think squid beaks, evil eyes, Yog-saron, or such..

very good edit, now it does look like a commander-like faceless figure, and performs greta ingame
 
there re a lot of faceless void models, this ones nice and all, but the others have a higher more powerful look.

to be a king, he should have more tentacles then any one else, should look scarier then any one else, and look more powerful then any one else.

this one looks like all you really did was add a better weapon and some new nicer armor. compared to others like say these:

compared to the master mind especially, yours seems under tiered.

your models nice and all, but not changed enough from the base faceless, try adding some more tentacles on his hands, maybe add a second weapon to his already weapon hand from another tentacle while he wields some form of scepter with cool emitters and ribbons. or something. this is a nice model, it just feels under completed.

But, it's still pretty cool. It's basic, but it's enough for a simple map or campaign. So, you know, add some more things, and it'll be ship shape. (I suggest you add a crown that looks like a faceless one's, make him look scarier, and other stuff.)

I'm sorry, but i don't think those model are good as you described them. I will add some things to my model to made it better.

Simple edits are not bad, if they are well done. I find the concept of this model interesting even if it's simple.

Here are some technical flaws in the model:
- some parts of the armor have inverted normals (you can see they are darker)
- you have a lot of geosets and materials which could be merged

And some personal opinion now:
- "tubes" on the sides of the helmet look weird, maybe you should remove them
- adding chest armor would be a good idea
- weapon doesn't fit, get rid of this wood handle

Neat!

Can I just say? I LOVE the little eye in the middle of his torso. Brilliant touch! I wasn't completely sold on this model I saw that. It's a pretty simple model, not outrageously different than the core one, but it's different enough to set itself apart in a significant way. The armor, the face, he's a blast to look at.

I'm making a map where "Starspawns" are one of the enemies. I was just gonna General Verax, but I think this might be even better. Plus, lower filesize!

I didn't know someone made a Faceless King. But the problem is... it really needs a portrait of some kind. Very important and useful kind of portrait.

It depends.
