Could you throw your thoughts here?

Please respect the opinions of others. Also I love if you put your reason out.

I haven't experience much of P2P and B2P only F2P.

As far as I know F2P eventually turns to P2W but not all e.g. Dota 2 and LoL.Well F2P doesn't give much money that the other 2 yet since people can easily access there are more people that ask more content which is impossible if you didn't encourage them to pay.

Also F2P tends to have a lack of content.

Thats all of my opinion.

Actually f2p brings in the most money.
Blizzard stated that Hearthstone which is F2P brings in more money than WoW.

Though I prefer to pay X and then have everything available through gameplay.

They said hearthstone is now more become of a P2W game even Trump said that on his video but not really an entire P2W game. Well you can get accest fast on strong cards if you buy expansions which gives you an advantage.

I never heard that in wow.

It's not P2W.
Amaz (streamer and legend rank player, plays for Team Liquid) lost at rank 25 against the free to play starter mage deck while he played with his main mech priest deck.

There are many videos on youtube as proof.

Trump also reached legend rank with a free to play mage deck: http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/33140-trumps-free-mage, http://us.battle.net/hearthstone/en...le.net/hearthstone/en/forum/topic/12162846390

Well I think people said that when they saw new cards has some awesome abilities like Empire Thauressan (sorry for spelling mistake).

But then this is the problem with F2P. New contents available easily by paying makes other people think it is a P2W thing.

Well you don't need it to reach high rank.
Quite a while back (like 1 year ago), I reached rank 5 with a zoo lock deck.
The Zoo Lock back then had 0 legendaries and 0 epics. Just a few rares.
Zoo Lock had legend rank potential and it still has to this day, even if the deck list has changed. It still requires 0 epics and 0 legendaries.

And new content is just as easily obtainable with gold. My friends saved gold for months and bought 80 packs for gold at the release of the old gods expansion.
He always do that, others can do the same if they want to.

Making things free to play brings in a lot of trolls.
Making things pay to play just is a pain on your wallet.
Making things buy to play is a pain cause after you paid it, you realise you dont like it.

As long as there is a proper trial version where you can try out the game if you like it enough to buy it, B2P is the best there is... gamer-wise.
The other two make more sense for marketing and profit.

I ussually crack games that do not have a serious trial version.
I cracked Terraria, I liked it, I bought it.
I cracked Dishonored, I liked it, I bought it.
I cracked Magicka 2, I didn't like it, I am happy I didn't bought it.

Simple as that.

F2P with HotS business model seems the best for players. It is not pay to win and looking at all the cosmetics people have there is some serious business. I have no idea how much money HotS is actually making thought so maybe it is a commercial flop.

The Free model of HotS is basically all non-cosmetic content is available if you play enough. Players always have access to all content and some times have free demos (weekly rotation) to entice people.

Gold may seem to be earned slowly but currently I sit at just 5 heroes left to unlock and have spent no money in HotS at all and have not resorted to cheating (all playing was done by myself, although it was only against AI as I am not that competitive but I was present for all matches as best as I could be). Sure about 2 of the heroes were free from RoS and LotV but the rest I used in game gold to acquire, and often at prices higher than they are now. It is not pay to win as these heroes perform exactly the same as if someone paid for them.
