Extracting the UI model and converting It

Hey guys, I'm trying to Import the Orc UI model into 3ds Max and then export it as a .M3.

I have the .mdx importer/exporter and the .M3 plugin. However, when I import the Orc UI model (which is a .mdx) it just shows an odd box wireframe, doesn't request any filepaths for Textures, and is really small.

Am I doing something wrong? Here are some pictures if they help:
