I just notice why the map has only 6 player slots and I don't like it. I was with my party but we are too many for 6 slots. Maybe 10 is enough

The map used to be a 8 player map size but was later reduced to 6. The thing is dungeons are set to a restriction of 5 people for balancing reasons so even if 10 people were in a game half of them wouldn't be able to do the newest dungeon and would have to sit out and be rather pointless for them. Not to mention it would make world bosses a complete joke just 10 manning them. The reason for having a 6 player game instead of 5 is for a little diversity. Having the option to swap out a player here and there and for backup if someone leaves/drops.

Having said that whenever Zwiebel gets around to making 1.3, which I am fully willing to wait for, thus adding heroics to dungeons I think 10 player map size could be neat so two groups can be running two different dungeons within the same map. Or even the concept of like a Gaias 'raid' a dungeon designed for 10 people to do it. God would I shit my pants.

The thing about increasing the player limit is: it's just not possible. ;)

The reason for that is that the -qi functionality requires me to have a 'dummy'-player for each player in the game.

But I agree, a 'raid mode' could be awesome. In theory. When applying reality to the idea, it would just be confusing and chaotic, I think. ;)

I'm not sure how well it would work, but you actually have 16 slots to use.
Technically you'll need 1 for neutral passive, 1 for enemies, so you'd still have 14.
According to you every real player requires 2 slots due to dummy players, so you could maybe have 7 players.

This ofc depends on how well you can use the Neutral Extra or whatever player.

I'm pretty sure that neutral extra and neutral whatever have some hardcoded limitations that does not allow them to share full control. Just like neutral aggressive always shows the mob name of creeps, etc.
