Hello! I'm in need of ideas for events and mini games for my gladiator arena style map. There are going to be about 30 rounds and every 5th round is a boss round. I was planning to have about 5 events, which would reward succesful players with resources, items, experience or access to secret heroes. There's quite much space on the map reserved for events. Any ideas? Thanks! :thumbs_up:

I don't know if you're making a fantasy arena style or a Roman gladiator style map, so not everything may fit with each style.

-The gladiators work together to fight a great boss, the Juggernaut. He drops an item which grants great damage, but is dropped again on death. The gladiators then fight in a FFA battle for control of the hammer. In the end, there's one person alive, and he gets the hammer to keep.

-A crowd of humans enter the arena, but they are infected and quickly turn into zombies. The gladiators work together to defeat the zombies, but each hero that is killed turns into a zombie himself. Ends when all zombies or gladiators are dead.

-Catapults are placed on the sides and a large group of enemies enters the arena. The catapults fire on the gladiators, but deal damage to both gladiators and enemies. (the Gladiators can use this to their advantage) The catapults should kill a lightly armored gladiator in 3 shots, and a heavily armored gladiator in about 5. (AKA, lots of damage)

-The gladiators each enter a small arena and need to kill a certain amount of enemies by themselves as quickly as possible. (no interaction between gladiators, more of a competition)

-Hidden landmines (bombs) are hidden around a track. The heroes then race to the end of the track without being blown up.

The Greatest Galdiator: You are about to one in one with the greatest gladiator in the arena but you're not actually gonna fight it but survive for 2 minutes. Once this has been completed, it awards the player that survived.

Recommended Awards: Gold (Currency, if there is in your map) or an item of great quality

Against the Odds: You are about to fight a giant slime monster. It is quite easy to kill but that does not end there. It's far more dangerous when it's killed. It multiplies into many smaller slimes which will SURELY outnumbered you and harass your teammates.

Recommended Awards: Item of legendary quality

The Trap Master: You are about to be transported to a field with many hidden traps of different elements (Fire, Ice, Thunder and etc) and at the end of the field lies the great boss, Trap Master. The Trap Master is not that strong but it will surely be hard to reach him because of the deadly traps.

Recommended Award: Item of legendary quality.

Elemental Mascare: First, lightning strikes random around the arena, dealing dmg and Purge. After that, a GIANT volcano emerges from the middle, firing shards. after that, tidalwaves. Rewards: Items.

Mon themed you say...

Event: The arena is covered in tall grass, vision greatly reduced, and wild beasts attack the player. When the beast is near dead, the player has the option of catching it or killing it (an ally in the former, and experience and loot in the former, up to six allies), to be used to defeat other players. Allies only last until the end of the event.

The Blade Cyclone (idea from the Monter map boss): make a huge cyclonr in the middle of the arena, whoever being sucked in it will died. It will suck anything into it, including heroes and creeps. You need speed boots or place Speed Runes along you way. Rewards: Gold and Exp.
