error when opening map - corrupt war3map.w3e (terrain)

i tried to open a map (i received the map from someone else) with normal WE aswell as with JNGP
it occured this error (no access violation!):


"This application has encountered a critical error:
The file data is corrupt.

File: war3map.w3e"

war3map.w3e is the file where the terrain is saved

as far as i know the guy i received the map from didnt edit it with any external program, only with JNGP
the problem is that i dont know what exact version of JNGP he is using and if his version is modded or not

im sorry that its not possible to upload the map

The file is corrupted. You should take an older version that was working or only importing the war3map.w3e from a working version.

i used a map unprotection on the map now and the map can be opened now
as far as i know the guy i received the map from optimized it with an external program and the map unprotection restored the missing data
