Okay, I just thought I would set the record straight for a few commonly used words, spelling, grammar, etc. It just annoys me when I see people pronouncing them totally wrong Don't mind me.
Pwn: Okay, if your going to say it, it's not 'pawn' it's 'pone', it rhymes with 'own', which it can also be pronounced as. The alternate pronounciation of 'own' when there is clearly a 'P' instead of an 'O' comes from the belief that the word 'pwn' originated when someone went to type 'own' and instead of hitting that trusty 'O' made a spelling mistake and hit the 'P' instead.
Noob: Okay, it's exactly as it's spelt. However, I've had people who spell it as 'nub' pronounce it that way, and really rhey are correct. It's pronounced 'new-b' not 'nuh-b'. If you really wanted to spell it with a 'U' and spell it properly then it would be 'nuub', as the second 'U' would give the 'ooh' sound that it's supposed to have.
Finally, for the grammatically impaired: The proper uses of 'your' and 'you're'
Okay, 'your' is a posessive, so it's referring to something by someone. So for example you would use it in a situation like: 'How is your dog?' it's reffering to someone else owning something. It's always used reffering to something (a thing) that is someone else's. 'You're', however, is a contraction of the words 'You are'. This would be used in any case that the words 'You are' would be, except it would be contracted to fit modern english needs. So in the sentence "You are a total noob", it would be "You're a total noob", not "Your a total noob".
*Update 1*
OMG: Okay, OMG is shortform for "Oh my god". It's not that difficult. It can be pronounced two ways: either literally as "Oh-Em-Gee" or in it's full form as "Oh My God".
LOL: Short hand for "laugh out loud", but seriously, no one ever is. As with OMG it can be pronounced one of two ways: either literally as "lawl" or as "Ell Oh Ell". I've never heard of pronouncing it as "Laugh out loud". Seriously, do you know how wierd that would sound? Your telling someone about an msn conversation you had the other night: "And he was all like 'I know laugh out loud!!!'". It doesn't work.
WTF: Ah, three glorious characters that mean so much to me. WTF is another shorthand word for "What the Fuck" or "What the Frigg" if your the christian type. It can be pronounced two ways: "Double-U Tee Eff" or "What the Fuck/Frigg". "Wuh-Tu-FFF" or triying to make a word out of WTF just doesn't work.
STFU: Ah yes, another wonderful, wonderful word. It gets a lot of work in my vocabulary. STFU is a short form for "Shut the Fuck Up". It can be pronounced three ways: "Ess-Tee-Eff-U", "Shut the Fuck Up" or even, if you feel like it, "Stuh-Fuu".
Finally, Dumbass: Seriously, this is very easy. It's a combination of the words "Dumb" and "Ass". It is pronounced "dumass", but it is absolutely not spelt that way.

FTW: Seriously, folks not to hard. FTW means 'For the Win'. Originated in WoW I believe. It's an expression you use when you think something is cool, great ir awesome. For example "Zomg that chicken is FTW!!!111!11ELEVENTYHUNDRED". It's pronounced one of two ways: "For the Win" or "Eff Tee Double-U".
