Email recording on Bnet?

Hi,

I am not sure if this is related to the newest patch (I am using 1.28.2), however I only got this recently after applying the latest updates:

Whenever I log into Battlenet and open the chat I get the message: # Email Service # wispers: Note: Email on record is <email>.

Where the <email> is partially obfuscated with stars like this: ab****[email protected].

Anyone knows what that means? Is this related to the new patches or not?

I get that as well. I think Blizzard is planning to eventually tie our game accounts to our battle.net accounts.
