Effect Browser

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
When making maps, i often wish to give my jass spells some kind of visual effect when cast. However, browsing them in w3 is often really painfull.

This is a system that allows you to browse different effects, and view them in-game, on a footman, to determine which effects fit your spell the best.

I am not saying this is necessesarily better than browsing them in the map editor (I think it is however), but it is definitely better than having to test your map all the time to see the actual effect applied to a unit.

I wasn't able to find anything like this on the hive, and i excuse many times should someone else be able to, so i decided to upload it.

I'd say neither. When you start editing an abilitys effects, like thunder clap's SFX, theres a window in the main editor that shows all the effects with a black background. So, really, all you've done is attempt to re-invent the wheel, and made it harder to do. Sorry

I know... but i found it awkward, especially if you don't know excactly what you're going for (And if you do, there's really on reason to view it), and you can't display it on a unit, as i said, i know this isn't necessarily easier, but i find it so. It was mostly meant for me, and my friends, but i saw no reason not to upload it.

the "Maps"-section is for playable maps and templates, this is neither a playable map, nor a template.
Therefore: Rejected.

And I must say that if you don't know exactly what you're looking, you won't find it fast with this either... (you have to open the map and type "rn" over and over again until you find something suitable.
In the editor, you can easily scroll through the effects and you can see them displayed on the left.

That's my opinion, though.
