EDIT: Solved! Special thanks to @DistinctBam for this solution. Here is the workaround if you run into this issue:
  1. Go to the Trigger Editor
  2. Export all of your triggers, if desired
  3. Delete all triggers
  4. Go to the Sound Editor
  5. Mark whatever sounds you need for Use
  6. Go back to the Trigger Editor and re-import your triggers
Original post:

I'm working on a map which is a modified version of Human06 (The Culling) from the Reforged campaign. I'm trying to use the following sounds for triggers:
ArthasWhat5
GromWhat3
TyrandeWhat1
KaelYesAttack3
GarithosWhat3
EvilSylvanasReady1
ThrallWarcry1
FurionWhat3
IllidanWhat3
RexxarReady
However, every time I right-click on one of these and click Use As Sound inside the sound editor, the map editor crashes.

I was able to use these sounds on other maps without a problem, but it always causes a crash on this map.

Any ideas?

It seems to be connected to triggers/scripting. The same map doesn't crash if I delete all triggers and then try again.

Is it the same on your end?
YES! Thank you so much, this fixed it for me as well!

Edit: Here's a workaround for anyone else running into this issue.
  1. Go to the Trigger Editor
  2. Export all of your triggers, if desired
  3. Delete all triggers
  4. Go to the Sound Editor
  5. Mark whatever sounds you need for Use
  6. Go back to the Trigger Editor and re-import your triggers

I had this issue earlier today and discovered the crashes were due to the names of my sound files being too long. I had been writing out the full dialogue line, which made them rather oversized. Once I shortened the file names, the crashing stopped entirely.
