So, I need an ability that lets a building morph and not produce units. I assume Root is the best ability for that, since I was also able to edit the Attack options (I dont want the builsing to attack) and the move option (The building does not move, it just changes form), but the thing is, when I "Root", i get to choose where the building goes, since that's how the original abilty works. Is there a way to edit it like you would, say, Defend? Basically a toggle?

ALSO, how does the game know the unit is rooted/uprooted to give it/take away abilities and buttons. The "Eat Tree" ability has no indication in the editor that it needs to be used when the unit is Unrooted.

Thanks!

I imagine it's all hardcoded behavior for Root/Eat Tree.

But why not just use a Morph ability like Bear Form? The alternate form unit could have modified Attack options.

Worst case you can hide the Root ability and use a separate ability + trigger to Order the unit to cast Root on it's own position.

Now I have another problem. I used Stone Form and when I morph the building, it plays the birth animation. Same thing when I morph it back. Can that be fixed somehow?
