Hmmm melee map, I'll review this.

EDIT: THE REVIEW

BAD:
  • The only bad thing that i can find is you put a level 20 camp on a fountain. Also the their placement is not balance, one side have health the other side got mana the two side have none(expansion gold mine)
  • The placement of goldmine is not balance, all players must have a secure expansion(balance placement).

GOOD:
  • Beautiful and detailed map. Good use of tile variations.
  • Symmetric map layout
  • Players have enough resources(trees and gold count)
  • Good item drops
  • Unguarded tavern

SUGGESTIONS:
  • Replace those fountains by goblin merchant or a market.

MY RATING: 4/5

My notes:
Neat melee map,

Neat melee map,

Well about the fountains I thought when I was making the map that would be stupid to have 2 same kind of fountains. And this is meant to be played as team of 2 against team of 2 so 2v2 so it balances it. But sure I can change them or do something else for balance. And thank you, now I know how to see pending. =)

The map feels actually like any Blizzard map, there's nothing new or whatsoever, just a standard melee. It's neat, symmetrical and most of all fun to play. There's plenty of trees here and there, the doodad are well sychronized.
Just some few notes though:

*Most of the item drops are decent but others are somewhat bugged, take the Razormane Chieftain for example, its current item drop is set to Level 7 - Miscellaneous which would ultimately drop nothing since the there are no level 7 miscellaneous, try fixing that with Any Level - Artifact, this way it'll give you better variety of artifact drop and the most important is that it doesn't cause bugs.

*Expansion goldmine is on a symmetric position but creep camps are rather imbalance, try making both goldmines have same creep power within it.

*Try making cliffs around the map, trees-only within the outline could cause an awkward result when workers chopped down the entire wood lane. If you think the cliffs are somewhat big and occupies too much space, try extending your map boundaries by going to Map Properties>Size and Camera Bounds and try modifying it, extend both length and width with counted 2 or 3 buttons symmetrically.

*Terrain feels a bit narrow, especially on the tavern site, doodads tend to block full access to passing troops, notably near the Goblin Merchant.

Decent melee map, and it makes me happy that people are still playing melee.

The problem with these kinds of maps is that 1v1 is not an option when the enemy can start near you.
Another problem might be the fact that air units could drop items in places hard to reach.

Well then again I've got plenty of 1v1 map that you are free to play.

Which air units are you referring to? All of flying creeps are next to gold mines and then it shouldn't be a problem?
