Dragon Age II

Compared to the first one, this was a let down. I didn't like the idea of hanging in one city the whole game. I wanted to travel in a magical world! That's what I love in RPGs... The whole game was running around the city and doing quests...

However I don't say the game was that bad after completing it. The game still had the gameplay of the first one which I love.

I have played and finished Dragon Age 2.

I played a melee oriented rogue. The story is nice as it spans over several years. It's much more nicer looking than DA:O, however it's a lighter game, more commercial.

I enjoyed it, can't say it was hard, fairly entertaining. Careful on your choices, as they will change the flow of the story.

Big let down from the first. Still a good game. They did admit it was simply filler and back story for the third game.

Dragon Age 2 is a lazy and uninspired sequel. The developers should have been researching the dragonagenexus forums for the most downloaded mods for DAO and took some ideas or inspiration.

The recycled environments got old after awhile, so did fighting wave after wave of enemies that randomly jump out of the background in every battle, which basically makes strategy worth fuck all. I also wasn't too fond of the art style the game decided to go in. The whole game just felt like some sort of cheapo, stripped down, Flash version of DA1. Like those little minigames Bioware and others make to earn items in the actual games.
