Click add game, paste in the beta key.

If the key is correct the game will appear (starcraft II wings of liberity beta).
Click the game to bring up info about it.
Choose to download the game.
Save the downloader to somewhere and run it.
Choose a desternation to save the installer (warning it is 1-2 GB).
After download it will automatically prompt to install.
Install to where you normall install games.
After installation let the game download all patches (11 at time of this message).

You can now play and use your starcraft II beta as long as blizzard lets you. They uphold the right to disable everyones beta whenever they feel like it.
 
when the client itself is installed the patches can be downloaded without logging in. i know because i have downloaded the patches. people cant get to the login screen without first getting the latest patch. use of the map editor doesnt require logging in either.

how do i download the patches without logging in?
