This must be from a recent patch because I haven't seen it in a while, but what's with the codes shown next to each doodad in the doodad palette? e.g., [Vtlt] Village Tree Wall? Is there a way to hide them? They're really distracting.

Nah, blizzard added the raw data to everything even in object editor when adding abilities or upgrades, and in triggers when you search for an ability, pretty annoying, it should just be after the name of the object not before.

If you're in the object editor, you can disable that raw data if you want to. In the View menu, there are a bunch of different checkboxes, and one of them is for "Data." Disabling that will hide the raw data and make it easier to search the alphabetical lists. This is distinct from "Display Values as Raw Data," which swaps in raw data for the object names and field names.

As for the brush list, I wouldn't advise using it. It causes a ton of lag, especially when creating new objects. In fact, most World Editor users go into the Window menu and uncheck "Brush List" to make the editor run faster. It was probably a mistake for Blizzard to put the raw data values in the doodad palette, but having them as an option in the object editor is handy for those that use JASS, since you have to refer to everything in JASS by its raw data.
