Yes, this discussion is a bit late. But anyway.
What are your thoughts on dominion.

Very unbalanced at the moment. If you don't ban Akali, your chance to win is somewhere around 5%. The same goes for Poppy, Rammus, Jax, and some others.
Mages also have a worse position than AD champions. Especially Vladimir; that -20% healing sucks.

It can be fun to play tho', but you need a team and communication, plus you all need dominion experience. If you have them all, you have good chances to win. If both teams have them; well, then that match will be fun

Played it once, the whole thing is way too fast, map is IMO too small, so called "quests" umm what quests?? I dunno, as I said played it only once... Should play it more times to figure it out. I mean i get the gameplay, but there is much more about it i guess?

Well it's kewl in some ways, but I'll continue play Summoner's Rift and Twisted Treeline. I know those battlegrounds better.
