Differences in magic caster

You would need to tell which series as rules of magic aren't same everywhere. I'll assume you mean Warcraft series. In general it is difference in source power.

Warlock uses fel source, in other words dark magic. Often the source of power are demons;
Necromancer specializes using the death magic. They work with corpses and spirits;
Alchemists are not magic casters, they are chemists really just their potions have less realistic powers;
Shamans gain their power from spirits and ancestral worship;
Wizards are classic magic users, they use arcane magic;
Druids are nature worshipers (not related at all with real life druids);
Unsure if there really is difference between sorcerer (sorceress is female version) and wizards in warcraft;
Priests use holy power, not necessarily "magic". Of course priests don't need to have power at all they are religious figures;
Magician is guy who preforms tricks;
Witch is female warlock but generally any female that uses magic, often meant as an insult;
