Hmm here is some tense conversation about D3 =)
First of all, Lore is very very important in RTS or RPG. WoW is claimed to have Lore but thats pure Bullshit.

Actually I find WoW has lots of cool little stories, if you take the time to read the quest descriptions. It's just the overall plot, and the wc3 lore that are gay/ruined. Just take the game for what it is, and enjoy the small stories.

Imo, the thing that destroyed wc lore was the raid vs boss that is being used in it. Not much of a legendary fight...

The only thing I hated about the raids was how they brought back Illidan, and how they make the bosses huge when they shouldn't be. I thought the old raids were cooler/better with the lore.

These raids are stupid....Imagine 40 or 25 nobodies go gang illidian? with some perma stun shit. Some tiny lores are nice, but it would make more sense that Arthas would finish of Illidian, and i know that maiv game last blow but that was rly sucky...........LAME

Know what I think would be cool? The characters from wc3 fight and you have to take care of the minions or something. Basically you have to fight someone other than Illidan while a "lore character" fights him.

actually, 40 people killing illidan doesnt sound that bad atall, considering the powers you actually have at Level 70

they arent really nobodies, they are very powerfull warriors fighting a uber powerfull warrior

Yeah, but that fails. You should be there doing all the frontlines crap while the lore-based characters fight the other lore-based characters.

Imagine the fights that'd happen then.
Like... 500 Blood Elves, Draenei/Forgotten(whatever they are) & Demons against a group of players and Arthas' undead army (Death Knights only FTW)

Just saying, it's bullshit that a few players can take down someone who was portrayed as an epic, unfathomably powerful hero/villain, rather than it taking an army to slay them like Blizzard makes it SEEM like it should.
