I have just dowloaded diablo 3 Warcraft but when I try to lunch the game it said the map was to big and will not load ? Any ideas of how to get it to work ? Thanks !

Because Diablo III Warcraft: Rise of Terror was last updated on April 2011 and Raven0 was last seen in 2012, it was my best bet that the OP was talking about Diablo III Warcraft v1.19b, which was last updated on September 14, 2012. That, plus CloudWolf is still around.
A quick glance tells me that most of these Diablo III projects seem to have been designed with v1.21b in mind.

Try running it with Warcraft 1.31. The map was developed for the 8 MB limit so should work fine with modern Warcraft III.
It is also possible the iffy map protection that was used has rendered the map archive effectively corrupt and modern Warcraft III cannot open it.

Which is a problem. Such maps will be ruined forever, unless one could actually deprotect to fix them.

Which is why I have been against such protection methods for quite a while. Anything that relies on corruption to work can be prone to problems in the future.

Who else to blame? Although one cannot be too hard on them since it all forms part of the learning experience.

Fellas, great to see you all again. It's literally been so long since we all last hung out 
Currently, there are no plans to maintain this map into the future. It was made in an attempt to fill the gap between Diablo III announcement and launch day.
Rest assured though, with Reforged being released, I'll be sure to make a map or two in the new world.
