Diablo 3 Issues

So I've been having some issues with the Battle.Net launcher for awhile. The new patch for Diablo 3 causes the game to crash when I try to launch it. I'm on an iMac from 2012, so I assume the new patch just isn't supported on my computer, but nobody I've talked to has acknowledged it when I said this or offered a link to older patch versions that could run on my hardware. I contacted Blizzard tech support and the help articles they provided either 404'd or the fixes in them didn't work, because I'm still having this issue. They told me to ask on the Battle.Net forums, but that doesn't work either because the forums are so poorly designed that I can't figure out where the write new post button is. Didn't Blizzard lock down the forums after the launch of Reforged anyway because of how many people were ripping into it? I don't know why they'd ask me to post on forums that are no longer publicly available unless they're also unaware you can't post there anymore. I figured I'd try posting here instead because this forum is more active. Are there other forums good for these types of technical questions about the Battle.Net launcher, because so far their tech support has felt pretty useless in this regard.
