Detonate ability removes blight.

You'll likely need to trigger your own.

Should be easy, use channel, make it a point target, AOE ability.

When the spell is cast, kill the caster/check for nearby units to remove mana/damage summoned units.

I'd prefer to keep this non trigger activated. I found out that this happens because the unit is not undead. So I changed the race, but this unit turns trees undead or grey colored when it harvests lumber when the unit is undead. Is there a way to keep the unit undead but not have it turn the tree undead?

My SC2 is a little rusty but I think you're thinking of creep DSG? Blight is created by an ability activated upon completion of an Undead structure, the other races have a blight dispel upon completion. I think Dispel Magic and Detonate both dispel blight and there is an item that can spawn Blight.

@Rugarus
You need to create the special effect.

  • Special Effect - Create a special effect attached to the overhead of yourUnit using Units\NightElf\Wisp\WispExplode.mdl
  • Special Effect - Destroy (Last created special effect)

My WC3 is rusty but I thought that the blight ability of undead buildings like main building and ziggurats prevented blight dispel. The logic behind this was to stop one being able to encroach on Undead Players by dispelling their ground, especially if allied to them where doing so might be unintentional. Also unlike creep which prevents build I do not think blight prevents build so the dispel was nothing more than visual or to prevent undead getting an advantage from it.

DSG is correct.
Blight cannot be dispelled if there's a Blight generator nearby. (More precisely, any area that is currently affected by a Blight generator is immune to dispel.)
Blight do not prevent other races from building.
The only advantage of Blight, besides allowing Undeads to build on, is it providing Health regeneration (generally 2 per second) to Undead units.
