----------------------------------Overview----------------------------------
Demons and Militia's is a concept originally developed by MegaMax otherwise known as TheLegandaryOne. In it's original state it included a basic terrain consisting of raised and lowered cliffs, a few imbalanced and slightly Imba towers. It used outland terrain and was a 64X64 playable map. It took ideas from Kodo Tag and Vampirism and mixed and melded them into one so a player would build like in Vampirism, harvesting wood to build a wall you repair, towers that keep the demons back etc.etc. whilst spawning Demons like Kodo tag and having them hunt down the Militia Captains.
The concept is still the same. You still run from the Demons and build your bases. Now however I have remastered the terrain to be Large as opposed to Tiny, I have balanced it out so it's harder for humans to survive, thus encouraging teamwork for survival. Currently still in it's Alpha phase I expect more updates, bug fixes and Demons to be added. However in it's current state it is playable as a survival, he who stands the longest wins. Victory can be obtained by destroying the Portal early in, however Units have not been added.
----------------------------------Teams----------------------------------
Militia- Red, Blue, Teal, Purple, Yellow, Orange, Green, Pink (Controllable players)
Demons- Brown (NPC)
----------------------------------Concept----------------------------------
The small village of Devonshire has been completely annihilated by seven crazy murderers. Their acts of brutality were so evil, and so violent that the benevolent powers of Hell called out to them, and with the blood of their victims they opened a Portal to Hell. The Demon God, K'thulu, being pleased with such displays of brutality and depravity took the seven souls and made them his Agents. Eight generals were sent ahead to halt the flow of demons.
Players must survive through eight rounds of demonology, or destroy the Demon Portal to win. Players lose by having their Militia Captain killed, and are ejected from the game.
----------------------------------Story Line----------------------------------
October, Friday the 13th, a dark and rainy day in Devonshire. As the villagers go about their farm work seven mysterious characters step into town from the western forest. Among them are three women and four men, each clothed in dark robes with hoods over their faces. The Villagers stop and look at the visitors, puzzled, when the seven pull from the depths of their robes seven wicked looking curved swords and the villagers freeze in terror. The slaughter begins.
When the Seven finish their grim work they pile the bodies in stacks and begin beheading them when a shadowy figure begins to rise from the blood stained ground. The Seven gather around him, blades held ready to strike him down when the man speaks. "My name is Grim, I am the messenger and second in command for our lord and master K'thulu. He is pleased by this slaughter he has seen today, so much so that he offers you a deal," The seven talked among themselves. They would hear this man named Grim out. "Continue" said the leader of the band. And so a deal was struck, and a ritual preformed. From the depths of Hell rose a portal that would allow tides of demon to flow into the world. To reward his new servants K'thulu gave them each power beyond that of any mortal, as well as new names. Gluttony, Sloth, Greed, Wrath, Lust, Envy, and Pride. Each was given armies to lead and told to conquer the world of Men.
However a child escaped to tell the tale, and news spread all throughout the kingdom of F'alador. Soon the King's priests gained knowledge of the Demons Portal, and urged the King to send an army to wipe it out. However it would take months before the armies of Men could be gathered to combat the demon portal, so ahead of the army the King sent eight of his best generals. "Raise an army, and defend the land surrounding the Demon Portal until I get there with the Army of the Holy One" commanded the king.
