Defense of Envias V.0.17

This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
Defense of Envias
The War has begun and only you can Stop it!
Map Description
Player Red Choose at the Beginning of the game the Game Mod /Classic\ (More Mods Incoming next Patch)
After this The game Starts each player have 1 City and 4 workers.
You have a large arsenal of Units, Buildings and Technologies,
with what you can defend the City Envias.
Build some Worker, build new Buildings, go in the next Century,
Research new Technologies and Defeat your enemy.


Important: I cant continue the map because i upgraded my pc and the workers deleted my complete hard drive without saving my map so i am sorry.

That description is awful. Doesn't really attract anyones attention since all of the text are under hidden tags and they are small as well. You should add a preview image to attract more people. Here's a list of BB Codes to improve the description, add screenshots, tell us more about the map, use colours and different sized fonts but don't go crazy with it. Terrain is abit flat and is spammed with doodads at some parts of the map. Therefore I vote for rejection.

Isn't the concept simple enough.... from the way it looks, its like your standard Art of Defense with a offense capability. ill try it sometime.
Hope it will be simple and fun as Art Of Defense or Attack of the Creeps.

except art of defense was made by a different person.

opps.... didn't meant to say its from the same person. The "your" i was refering was to the "Art of Defence" map i assumed he have in the C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\Maps\download
sorry for the misunderstanding.

~ Judging by those screen-shots, I'm not going to download this map anytime soon. One word : Bland
 
I figured i'd give map rating a shot.
First impressions: Judging from the screenshots, you need more texture variation and terrain variation, and doodad placement.

Onto triggers: I really don't like that you're the only person that can kick.
People don't know what "lila" is it's "purple"
I don't like the cheats, either, "-add gold" "mongo" and "kill her"
The multiboard time looks really bad, i'd use a timer instead of like 100 waits.
The worker limit is one way, if you went over the max then lost some builders, you couldn't make more, i'd just use "Limit training of unit type" for it.
If a player leaves and another players units are in his base, all of the player in his base's units will die.
There are several Leaks.

I can't help you with balance or game, because i can't play wc3 at the moment, but a final thought, i'd fix the description even more, as it still doesn't make it look appealing.

Review, about Defense of Envias V.0.17, by APproject

I rate this resource by 1/5 and I vote for rejection due to its unacceptable quality.

1. Why one of the screen shots is not in the hidden tag like the others?
2. Map Description do not exist.
3. Why to choose game mod if there is only one game mod?
4. Gold mines has wrong selection scale size.
5. One of the gold mines has more gold than others by 19999.
6. Buildable structures has no hotkeys notice.
7. Trainable units has no hotkeys notice aswell.
8. Please separate upgrades from trainable units and change its icons.
9. I see no credits for the imported materials to your map.
10. Bigger part of upgrades has no hotkeys notice.
11. Bigger part of updrages has no description at all.
12. There is no boudary for the units, please implent Food system.
13. A typo error Summen The DemiGod.
14. Upgrades at University has wrongly set X; Y positions.
15. Problem with sounds, sword is doing sound like a hammer bash, almost every unit has same unit-sound (Footman or Swordman).
16. Tarrain and environment art is terrible.
17. Envias Scout Post is way too big, since view camera goes into it and I see textures.
18. Waves contains too small variaty of monsters, it is not interesting and too cheap.
19. An imbalance, I did nothing at single player and two waves were carried by allies (Computer).
20. Hero abilities has no hotkeys notice.
21. A part of hero abilities are missing its description.
22. Hero abilities has wrongly set X; Y positions.

Generally, it is not fun, interesting or satisfying. Map is too big, I can't even oriantate from where I should expect enemy units. A work of 2-4 days, for now, it is unacceptable. Fix these points and I might take a deeper look at it, only if you wish to.

I realy like this map i played it so often with friends and hosted what i very like on this map are the detail the small things nice map it could be better but iam realy sad about that you dont continue the map i think if you would do it the map would be popular.
