EDIT: Why is there a full-model portrait file? Can't you add that portrait animation and camera to the actual model?

Regardless, too heavy on FX which impedes proper gameplay especially in an RTS setting.

The model has too much "noise", sometimes less is more. I would drastically reduce the particles and the shoulder part looks very strange. It could be a good starting point for a good model but it still needs a lot of work.
