Custom Map Size (can it be 500x500?)

Hi everyone...

How can I choose a diferent size (for the map size) in the map editor besithes the ones set by default.

e.g.: I want a map to be 500 by 500.

Can you send me a tutorial or telme how do i do it?

maimum size with 480 is 480x128

You can make the map any size you want with the right hacks. Also the Newgen World Editor allows for maps that are 480 X 480 which is very big. It would take a footman like 10-15 minutes to cross one from the top right corner to the bottom left corner of the map.

Note: If you make a 480x480 map filled up with units and doodads, you can expect a monster lag.


Tip: Instead setting the size to 480x480, keep it on 256x256, and reduce the units size by 50%.

Yes indeed a monster lag! from 480x480 it is imposible making the map 500x500 only with the NewJass gen programm.With that size of map u will not know what to put in it.

You don't want such a big map, believe me. 256x256 is more than enough really.
