Custom Campaigns for hire?

Hello,

I wonder if there is a place in here, where I can talk to some serious map editor/campaign creator for doing a custom campaign for me?
Was interested if it's against the rules or what, cause I would be ready to pay nicely for a great custom campaign!

Can discuss payment per Map or as whole.. Custom Campaign should be of top quality, without shortcuts of any kind, cinematics, AI, terrain, everything top notch!
If it's against the rules, my bad, I didn't know, just curious if there is a custom campaign Mercenary/Creator Team for hire!

Are you referring to Reforged or to Classic graphics?

I think that Reforged raised the requirements bar for making a campaign, at least in some ways, by making 3d files more complex so if you want a bunch of special 3d models unique to your campaign in the Reforged version they're all harder and slower to make. It starts to concentrate power and creativity in the hands of a smaller number of people maybe. Whether rightly or wrongly, I've seen an increase in the amount of people passing money back and forth for War3 related projects in social channels tangentially related to Hive. This is not an endorsement, and maybe somebody from Hive will show up here enforcing the old rules that 2002 blizzard says nobody can profit off of their Warcraft 3 creations or whatever.

But anyway, I think that increase in the amount of money changing hands under the table thing might be the result of such extensive corporate apathy. Maybe if we had a platform applying to a broad audience and keeping the barrier to entry low like how World Editor felt in 2003 compared to its competitors, the idea of money in a video game space wouldn't creep in so easily.

Classic, I am not at all interested in Reforged/Disgraced version of the game. Keeping it old school, the way it's suppoused to be.
If there is anyone out there, who does this, feel free to contact me, we can work out what and how and why.

Would like to do it, and money isn't problem.

How long should the campaign be?

I tend to agree with Retera - but in the end, no one can really control what people do in private (i.e. keeping the payment a secret).

Asking for a campaign right away seems a bit much, it's like asking for a novel or a whole music album.

Maybe start with just 1 map, which will also help for both parties to see how it goes and if more is worth considering.

I can discuss any specifics, including what you mentioned in private inbox chat, I am just here to see if anyone / any team is doing that at the moment? Cause I've never heard for Campaigns 4 hire..

And yes, everything can be agreed/discussed privately and arranged accordingly!

It is a very complicated topic, I don't know if you know how to edit or if you have any experience in this regard, but many times from the outside things look very different from how they really are in the editor. I'm not saying it's a bad idea, but if you're going to pay for hours of work, something top-notch like you're looking for, it's going to cost you more than a kidney

But hey, I wish you luck, I'm not in a position to create anything of the level you're looking for, but there are many talented people in this forum.

You are! Your Custom Campaign is really well done! Something on that level with slightly more cinematics and a few more maps to twist the story a bit!

I already left you a review and a Thumbs Up, hopefully you and Wind Rose and others will continue it one day! It looks a lot like True Story of the Arkain and I apsolutely love it!
