Custom Campaign Progress

How do you transfer your progress from an old version of a custom campaign to a new version? Without starting over.
I am playing Arkain Second Human Book, and I stumbled into a bug that does not let me finish a map. I contacted the Shar Dundred, and said he fixed the bug in the recent versions. So, I need a way to transfer my progress from 1.70 to 1.74

Save files won't work anymore. However, if you overwrite the campaign file you should be able to continue from the map you left on. If not, then you'll have to make that map visible in the campaign menu with the editor.

The items that you have collected in the previous chapters should also be available if I'm not mistaken.
