Custom Auras {making a field with a negative number}

I am pretty noob but I was messing with world editor, and I tought I can make some new auras.Like Vampiric aura with negative numbers, affecting enemies.When they hit an unit, they lose hp.Blight Aura: lose hp per second etc.

My question: how can i make a field with negative numbers, like -5.

Most people will tell you to press shift or something when you click the field but I prefer to allow negative values permanently. If you do also then simply go to File -> Preferences and in the first tab at the end is a check box to allow negative values.

The above methos works fine' but remember it works only for integers
